More Than 100 Years Later, the World I Live in Still Displays the Impact of the New Imperialism

If you compare a map from Africa after the New Imperialism to one of today, many of the boarders are still the same. The Europeans exported slaves to places around the world. If they hadn't done this we would not have the same kind of diversity that we now have in America. Also, many of the things created in this area are still used. Things like the Suez Canal. It is still, to this day, used to cut off days from a sea voyage from Europe to the Far East. The world today is still affected by the New Imperialism.
